Laura earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, specializing in Architectural Design, from Stanford University in 2014. Shortly thereafter, she joined The Cearnal Collective,where she leverages her strong organizational and design skills to lead and manage efficient, collaborative teams that successfully deliver a wide range of projects.


As a Partner at The Cearnal Collective, Laura is an integral member of the leadership team, contributing not only to design excellence but also to the firm’s strategic direction. She plays a key role in shaping the organizational structure and improving operational processes, ensuring that the firm remains agile, innovative, and responsive to both client needs and industry demands.

A dedicated advocate for her community, Laura currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Coastal Housing Coalition, where she works to address housing needs and solutions for the Santa Barbara area. Laura’s passion for the creation of abundant, safe, and beautiful housing is deeply embedded in her approach to architecture. She views housing as a fundamental component of healthy, resilient communities and is committed to advancing projects that prioritize this.  She has also contributed her expertise to the American Institute of Architects – Santa Barbara Chapter, having previously served on its board. Laura is committed to both her profession and her local community, seeking to drive positive change through her work.


When she’s not immersed in her professional responsibilities, Laura enjoys spending time outdoors. She is an avid equestrian and can often be found riding horses, as well as walking along the beach with her two dogs, Oliver and Ruger.
